Emote for sxsw

Emote is an immersive experience that offers visitors a space to pause, reflect, and connect—both with themselves and with others' emotions. 

By externalising private invisible feelings into shared visual experience, Emote blurs the boundaries between self and other, inviting empathy, curiosity, and community. The work challenges how we communicate and perceive emotions in an increasingly digitised world, offering a soft counterpoint to fast-paced digital interaction.

The experience uses tactile blocks and colourful projections to capture and sublimate emotional states within a cube. This experience will create an emotional landscape of the SXSW visitors gathered over 7 days.
