the conception of a three-legged stool
Client: Plai design (Self-directed), 2015

This three legged stool made from sustainably sourced American oak was inspired the way a woman posture when sitting on a stool like this- her legs placed together with care, usually seen with knees together. Its has a unique hexagonal extrusion that follows the graceful curves of the legs and compliment the seat's shape.
The process of making this stool has been captured in the soundscape that include sound bites from the studio sketching and in the workshop making.
